CAMAC EXTENDERS
The Model 8201 Extenders are standard single-width modules which bring the Dataway signals to the front of the CAMAC Crate. The ±6 volt power buses are each fused for 3 amperes and the ±12 and ±24 volt buses are fused for 1 ampere.
Model 8201-1 single-width Extender module brings the I/O connections to the front of the crate on a 36 position PC edge connector. The model has a removable bottom guide that supports the module during testing.
This single-width module extends the dataway about 8 inches beyond the front panel with a flexible 26 awg. cable. The power and ground wires are 22 awg. These type extenders allow working on multiple width modules in a folded open position.
